Lee is a certified and licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist. In addition to serving as a full-time clinician, Lee is also the residency director and owner of the company. His interest in the field grew because of his family’s involvement with and support of Shriners Children's Hospitals. This led to a lifelong pursuit to help others.
Lee began his career in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2008 and has attained national board certification as a Prosthetist and Orthotist by the American Board of Certification, as well as state licensure from the state of Texas. He is also a member of the Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics and well as the Texas Chapter of the Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics. He has been practicing in the Houston metroplex and Houston Medical Center for well over a decade.
In addition to teaching students, he also administers National Board Exams for the American Board of Certification (ABC). Throughout the years, he has been invited to present lectures and educational training to a variety of professional groups.
When it comes to learning, he considers it to be a lifelong endeavor. He has been fortunate enough to be exposed to a multitude of what the field has to offer and is always attending conferences and classes to further his knowledge. He holds credentials as a provider on a number of specialty certifications. Feel free to ask him anything.
Lee has worked with patients with scoliosis, cranial molding, burns, pediatrics, trauma, and rehabilitation. He currently spends most of his time helping with orthopedic, vascular, and neurological rehabilitation, including traumatic brain injuries (TBI), stroke (CVA), spinal cord injuries (SCI), multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, complex orthopedic issues, trauma related injuries, amputations, and other neurological or neuromuscular disorders. He sees patients in the hospital for various situations, in an outpatient therapy setting once discharged, and in the office for long term continued care. Just let him know what you need.
Jessica is the friendly face and voice that will greet you when you call or come into the office. With 20 years of experience in healthcare scheduling and billing, she works to make your scheduling process and appointment time as painless as possible. She will help you get the most benefit from your insurance company and fight to make sure you get the benefits you deserve.
Jessica also works directly with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and has extensive knowledge both of the field and insurance requirements to make sure patients are receiving the best care possible.
